Links of London Introduces Watch Over Me

Offering protection in this ever uncertain world, this magical collection has been inspired by talismans throughout the ages. Woven through the collection, symbols of love, luck and protection are beautifully handcrafted in 18ct yellow gold and sterling silver, diamonds and semi precious gemstones.

The collection is very delicate and feminine, with finely crafted miniatures.  Central to the collection is the evil eye, which is both a powerful symbol and a force against evil.

Watch Over Me comprises of two sub-collections in 18 carat gold and Sterling Silver. In addition there is ‘’Purity’’ collection which combines freshwater pearls with silver lotus leaves.

Evil Eye
The evil eye protects us by deflecting harm that may be intentionally or unintentionally invoked by the covetous gaze of others.  Each piece is individually made by hand using blue topaz and black onyx, and embellished with diamonds.  Topaz symbolises sincerity, patience and happiness whilst onyx symbolises wisdom.

Full Moon
The moon represents intuition, fulfilment, success and achievement.  Our moon has a smooth matt texture, sugared with individually hand set diamonds reflecting the surface of the moon.

Crescent Moon
The crescent shape new moon symbolises optimism, new beginnings and change.  It is embellished with close set pave diamonds giving the piece shimmering glamour.

Sycamore
Sycamores are known for their medicinal and healing properties, guarding us against ill health.

Lotus Leaf
Coupled with fresh water pearls, the silver lotus leaf is symbolic of creative power, fertility and rebirth, whilst the pearl represents wisdom and purity.

Cowry Shell
The Cowry shell was one of the earliest forms of jewellery and symbolises prosperity and wealth.  It is hand carved in Peruvian opal which is known for its creative, soothing and purifying effects.

Olive
Olives and their branches have long been representative of peace and kindness.  The olive is hand crafted in prehnite, representative of endurance and strength.

Gardenia
The gardenia is a famous symbol of love and joy, hand carved from white coral which symbolises antiquity, wealth and prosperity.

Horseshoe
The only man made symbol  is the horseshoe, which is used as a fastening throughout the collection. It is universally recognised as a symbol of luck and good fortune.

‘’Jewellery should be meaningful and infused with emotion.  The collection includes elements from earth, sea and sky anchored by the lucky horseshoe’’
